titleOfInvention Fuel cell and gas transfer method
abstract A fuel cell and a gas transfer method capable of performing replacement in a fuel electrode in a short time with a simple configuration. A power generation unit comprising a fuel electrode, an oxidant electrode, a solid polymer electrolyte membrane sandwiched between the fuel electrode and the oxidant electrode, and disposed outside the power generation unit to store fuel; A fuel supply unit 2 that is a cartridge having a detachable mechanism that can be attached to and detached from the power generation unit 1, a fuel flow path 22 that is used to connect the fuel supply unit and the fuel electrode, and supply fuel to the fuel electrode; A discharge chamber 3 is provided which is disposed outside the electrode and communicates with the fuel electrode via the connection flow path 31 and includes a movable portion 33 which moves from one of the first position (a) and the second position (b) to the other. The fuel cell and the gas moving method have a gas moving mechanism that moves the gas inside the fuel electrode to the discharge chamber 3 when the movable portion 33 moves from the first position (a) to the second position (b).
