titleOfInvention Method of fusing liposome to lipid bilayer membrane
abstract To provide a method for fusing a lipid bilayer membrane and a liposome capable of efficiently fusing the lipid bilayer membrane and the liposome. A method for fusing liposomes to a lipid bilayer membrane comprises arranging electrodes on both sides of an artificial lipid bilayer membrane formed in a pore and applying an alternating voltage between these electrodes, while said lipid bilayer membrane is used. Contacting at least one side of the membrane with a liposome suspension. [Effect] By the method of the present invention, the liposome can be efficiently fused with the lipid bilayer. On the other hand, when the liposome contains a protein, the protein is retained in the lipid bilayer when fused with the lipid bilayer. Since it is already established, the protein can be efficiently retained on the lipid bilayer by fusing the liposome containing the protein with the lipid bilayer by the method of the present invention.
