abstract Disclosed are a contact lens disinfectant and a contact lens disinfection unit that can provide a high disinfection effect in a short time. The disinfectant for contact lens of the present invention comprises (A): hydrogen peroxide or a peroxide that dissolves in water to generate hydrogen peroxide, and (B): a specific chelating agent or a derivative thereof ( and a catalyst body containing a mixture and / or a reaction product of b1) and at least one of a copper compound and a manganese compound (b2). The contact lens disinfection unit of the present invention includes the contact lens disinfectant and a hydrogen peroxide neutralizer. [Selection figure] None
