abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cell or a microorganism having a high AA phospholipid content per cell or per culture solution, wherein the produced cell or microorganism can be easily separated from the culture solution. Provided are methods for producing AA phospholipids from cells or microorganisms produced by these methods. A filamentous form in which a medium containing a nitrogen source prepared without adding a carbon source is inoculated with a microorganism in a filamentous form, and then the medium inoculated with the microorganism is cultured to produce a mat-like mycelium. A method for producing a microorganism in the form. A method for producing arachidonic acid phospholipid, comprising producing a mat-like mycelium by this method and separating arachidonic acid phospholipid from the produced mat-like mycelium.
