abstract | A reaction plate with high performance and good manufacturability that achieves high efficiency and high power factor of a linear induction motor used in a linear motor train. In a reaction plate composed of a composite conductor of a conductive non-ferrous metal and an iron-based metal base material, the frequency of eddy current flowing in the reaction plate parallel to the traveling direction on the primary side of the thick plate-shaped metal base material By providing the depth of cut determined by the skin thickness depending on the same effect as when the metal base material has a laminated structure.
