abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a film for surface protection that has very few fish eyes, has excellent blocking properties without using an anti-blocking agent, has excellent transparency, and has improved peel force control and feeding performance. A surface protecting film having an adhesive layer formed on one surface of a base material layer and a release treatment layer formed on the other surface, the base material layer using a metallocene catalyst, and propylene alone in the first step. Alternatively, the propylene-ethylene random copolymer and the propylene-ethylene random copolymer obtained by sequential polymerization in the second step are formed from a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having specific MFR and DMA characteristics, and an adhesive layer is formed. A film for surface protection, characterized in that it is formed of a soft polypropylene resin having a specific density, TREF value, and molecular weight distribution, and the release treatment layer is formed of a silicone or long chain alkyl release agent.
