titleOfInvention | Optical film and method for producing the same, polarizing plate, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | An optical film comprising at least a cellulose acylate resin having a total acyl substitution degree of less than 2.5, having good peelability from a metal support during solution casting, no whitening, and good optical expression. Providing a production method with reduced production costs of the optical film. The cellulose acylate resin includes two or more cellulose acylate resins having different total acyl substitution degrees, and the cellulose acylate resin has a total acyl substitution degree of less than 2.5 and a total acyl substitution degree of 2.5 or more. The cellulose acylate resin having the largest mass abundance ratio and the cellulose acylate resin having the second largest mass abundance ratio among all the cellulose acylate resins contained in the optical film. An optical film satisfying the following formula. | A−B | × (b / a) ≦ 0.13 (Wherein A is the total acyl substitution degree of the cellulose acylate resin having the largest mass abundance ratio; B is the total acyl substitution degree of the cellulose acylate resin having the second largest mass abundance ratio; a is the total cellulose acylate resin. The mass abundance ratio of the cellulose acylate resin having the largest mass abundance ratio relative to the weight ratio of the cellulose acylate resin; [Selection figure] None |
