abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-air secondary battery having a reduced charge voltage as compared with the prior art and having excellent cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte is disposed between a carbon positive electrode 3, a metal lithium negative electrode 5 made of a material that occludes and releases metal lithium or lithium ions, and a carbon positive electrode 3 and a metal lithium negative electrode 5. A secondary battery is configured. Then, any one of FeO, Fe 2 O 3 , Fe 3 O 4 and any one of iron oxide and MnO, MnO 2 , Mn 2 O 3 , Mn 3 O 4 is applied to the carbon positive electrode 3. An electrode active catalyst obtained by mixing and heat-treating two manganese oxides is added. [Selection] Figure 1
