titleOfInvention | Planographic printing plate making method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a printing plate of a constant quality by a developer having a constant developability without being deteriorated by carbon dioxide gas, and also advantageous in terms of a developer replenishment amount, a waste liquid amount reduction, a running cost and an environmental aspect. To provide a plate making method of a printing plate excellent in stain resistance. A lithographic printing plate precursor having an image recording layer and a protective layer containing a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound on a support is cured on the image recording layer of the exposed portion by imagewise exposure, and then nonionic. It develops by drying by processing with the aqueous solution of pH 2-10 containing 1 mass% or more of surfactant, anionic surfactant, or both, and removing the protective layer and the image recording layer of an unexposed part. A method for making a lithographic printing plate, or a method for making a lithographic printing plate, wherein after the development, the plate is brought into contact with an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble polymer compound.
