abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an excellent anti-freezing property because it is inexpensive and suppresses the strength reduction of the resulting hardened concrete, suppresses the occurrence of cracks in the hardened concrete with an excellent shrinkage reduction function, and can easily improve the quality of entrained air. Provided is a concrete composition capable of imparting meltability and improving the durability of a hardened concrete. A concrete composition of the present invention includes a shrinkage reducing agent for concrete mainly composed of a branched compound (A-1) represented by the general formula (1) and cement. R 1 — [O— (A 1 O) m —R 2 ] n (1) (In the general formula (1), R 1 R 1 - [OH] represents R 1 derived from a polyhydric alcohol represented by n, n is 3 or 4, A 1 O 2 to 18 carbon atoms R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, m represents an average addition mole number of the oxyalkylene group A 1 O, m is 1 to 500, (When n = 3, the hydroxyl value is 10-60, and when n = 4, the hydroxyl value is 5-200.)
