A tea beverage containing a high concentration of amino acids and having a reduced odor caused by heat sterilization due to heat sterilization is provided. The amount of amino acids in a tea beverage is 40 ppm or more, the amount of caffeine is 150 ppm or more, and the amount of furaneol is 50 ppb or more.
