titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of liquid crystal resin |
abstract | Liquid crystal resin used as a material for an insulating resin base material on a substrate such as a printed wiring board or a package substrate is industrially efficiently produced by a batch polymerization method. A resin generation step of melt-polymerizing a raw material M in a polymerization vessel 3 to generate a liquid crystal resin P, and a resin discharge step of discharging the liquid crystal resin P generated in the resin generation step from the polymerization vessel 3 are provided. It is repeatedly executed for a plurality of lots. After the resin discharge process for each lot and before the resin generation process for the next lot, the liquid crystal resin P remaining in the molten state at the discharge port 3c of the polymerization vessel 3 is polymerized at a gauge pressure exceeding 0.005 MPa. Re-discharge from the container 3. Thereby, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of a situation where the liquid crystal resin P remaining in the polymerization container 3 is solidified and the discharge port 3c of the polymerization container 3 is blocked.
