abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an epoxidized diene rubber having good production efficiency, no generation of waste liquid such as washing water, low cost and suitable as a raw material for a rubber composition in production of an epoxidized diene rubber The present invention relates to a rubber composition using the same. SOLUTION: A long chain carboxylic acid having 4 or more carbon atoms is used as an epoxidation catalyst, and the long chain carboxylic acid and hydrogen peroxide solution are added to a diene rubber and kneaded using a mechanical shear force.
