titleOfInvention | Apparatus and method for plating against carbon fiber |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to coat a carbon fiber with a thin metal film by using a bipolar electrode. An electrolytic solution 10 in which a plating metal is dissolved is stored, and a plating tank 18 provided with a cathode 14 and an anode 16 connected to a power source 12 is used to form a surface of a long carbon fiber CF. A plating apparatus that performs plating, and the carbon fiber CF is moved from the cathode side to the anode side in the plating tank 18 in a state where the carbon fiber CF is immersed in the electrolytic solution 10 so as not to contact either the cathode 14 or the anode 16. Thus, the surface of the carbon fiber CF is pretreated in the vicinity 20 of the cathode, and thereafter, a plating metal is plated in the vicinity 22 of the anode. [Selection] Figure 1 |
