The present invention provides an optically active nucleoside 3′-phosphoramidite for use in the efficient production of phosphorus atom-modified nucleotides with high stereoregularity. A general formula for use in a method for producing a highly stereoregular phosphorus atom-modified nucleotide analog by condensing with a nucleoside using an activator, followed by reaction with an electrophile and deprotection.
