titleOfInvention | Loop type heat pipe and electronic device equipped with the same |
abstract | A loop heat pipe excellent in startability and heat transport capability and an electronic device including the same are provided. A compensation chamber, an evaporation section, a steam pipe, a condensation section, and a liquid pipe are connected in a loop shape, and a loop type heat pipe in which a working fluid circulates inside the compensation chamber. In addition, the hydraulic fluid 18 is discharged and contracted when the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature, and the hydraulic fluid absorption member 16 that absorbs and expands the hydraulic fluid 18 when the temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature is provided. Even if the loop type heat pipe 10 is in the top heat arrangement and the working fluid flows out from the evaporation section, the working fluid 18 necessary for wetting the wick 22 is supplied from the working fluid absorbing member 16 by heating at the time of starting. The circulation of the working fluid can be started. Further, since it is not necessary to provide a porous filter having a large flow resistance in the flow path of the working fluid, the heat transport characteristics are also excellent.
