abstract | Provided is a method for producing an electrode substrate, which does not contain a separate dispersant on the carbon nanotube layer of the finally obtained electrode substrate and can apply all soluble polymer resin binders. A method of manufacturing an electrode substrate according to the present invention includes a step of coating a carbon nanotube dispersion containing a low molecular weight dispersant on a polymer substrate to form a carbon nanotube dispersion layer, and cleaning the dispersion layer. Removing the low molecular weight dispersant, impregnating the substrate including the carbon nanotube dispersion layer from which the low molecular weight dispersant has been removed with a polymer resin solution, and removing the substrate from the solution and drying the solution.
