titleOfInvention | Semiconductor signal processing equipment |
abstract | A semiconductor signal processing apparatus for efficiently performing a match search operation is provided. Two operator cells (UOEL, UOER) having a series body of first and second transistors having different supply current amounts according to stored data are used as a storage unit (SUT). Data to be searched and search data are stored in the first and second transistors, and complementary data are stored in the operator cell. The operator cell supplies a current corresponding to the AND operation result of the stored data to the corresponding bit line, and the read data from the storage unit corresponds to the EXOR operation result of the search data and the search target data. A current flowing through the corresponding bit line (BLL, BLR) is amplified by a sense amplifier circuit to drive the local match line (ML). Data with different pattern lengths is stored in each sub-block of the operator cell array. A local match line potential is selected according to the data pattern length, and a match search is performed on data having different pattern lengths. [Selection] Figure 6 |
