Angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitor |
abstract |
The present invention provides an angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitor that has catechins contained in green tea as an active ingredient and can exhibit the effect more effectively. Methylated catechin is used as an active ingredient of an angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitor. The methylated catechin is preferably epigallocatechin-3-O- (3-O-methyl) gallate. In addition, the angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitor preferably contains at least one tea leaf extract selected from Benifuuki, Benifuji, Beni-Hare. [Selection figure] None |
