titleOfInvention Electrolytic capacitor
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vaporized electrolyte from being ejected to the outside like smoke when an electrolytic capacitor is opened. SOLUTION: A hollow portion 6b that protrudes from the outer bottom surface to the inside is formed at the bottom of the outer case 6 of the electrolytic capacitor. A pressure valve 7 that opens when the internal pressure of the electrolytic capacitor rises above a predetermined value is formed at the top 6c of the hollow portion 6b. The electrolytic solution absorbent 8 is accommodated in the hollow portion 6b. The capacitor element 1 is accommodated in the outer case 6 so that the hollow portion of the outer case penetrates the air core part 1a of the capacitor element 1 impregnated with the electrolytic solution. Even when the pressure valve 7 of the electrolytic capacitor is opened, the ejected electrolytic solution is absorbed by the electrolytic solution absorbent 8, and the electrolytic solution is not ejected outside the electrolytic capacitor.
