titleOfInvention Aromatic polyamide short fiber and method for producing the same
abstract The present invention provides an aromatic polyamide short fiber which can cope with environmental changes such as high production speed and low humidity in the process, and has improved card process passability and needle breakage resistance in a needle punch process. An oil agent adheres to the surface of an aromatic polyamide fiber, and the oil agent contains 20 to 60% by weight of the following component (A), 0.5 to 5% by weight of component (B), and (C). An aromatic polyamide short fiber containing 5 to 30% by weight of the component and 15 to 50% by weight of the component (D). (A) Mineral oil having a viscosity at 30 ° C. of 5 to 50 mm 2 / s or a fatty acid ester having a molecular weight of 200 to 500. (B) Dimethyl silicone having a viscosity at 30 ° C. of 5 to 20 mm 2 / s. (C) A quaternary ammonium salt type or amine salt type cationic activator. (D) Nonionic activator. Furthermore, it is preferable that this oil agent contains 1-10 weight% of (E) component. (E) An alkali metal salt of an alkyl phosphate having 8 to 20 carbon atoms, or an alkali metal salt of a compound in which an alkylene oxide having 2 to 3 carbon atoms is added to an alkyl phosphate having 8 to 20 carbon atoms.
