abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a stent mounted by being compressed on a balloon, which does not have a bent portion that deforms greatly at both the time of mounting and when expanded, hardly gives material fatigue to the bent portion, and is stable for a long time after placement. There is provided a living organ dilator comprising a stent having the above-described shape maintaining ability. A living organ dilator 1 includes a balloon catheter 2 having a balloon 3 and a stent 10 mounted on the balloon 3 by being compressed. The stent 10 includes a plurality of bent portions 21 that are deformed during compression and a plurality of bent portions 22 that are not substantially deformed during compression. When the balloon 3 is expanded, the bent portion 22 that is not substantially deformed at the time of compression is greatly deformed as compared to the bent portion 21 that is deformed at the time of compression.
