abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To easily and surely produce an electrophotographic toner having excellent storage stability and fixing property, and excellent color reproducibility and high image density while achieving both high temperature offset and high gloss and a minimum fixing temperature. The present invention provides a method for producing an electrophotographic toner that can be produced, and an electrophotographic toner produced by the production method. In a method for producing an electrophotographic toner in which an oil phase containing a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent is suspended and granulated in an aqueous medium, the binder resin in the oil phase is a polyester resin. In addition, the release agent and the colorant in the oil phase are used as a colorant dispersion previously melt-mixed with at least a part of the polyester resin. [Selection figure] None |
