abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consider a time when a conventional drive recorder using both continuous recording and event recording is stored in a storage device when switching from event recording to continuous recording or switching from continuous recording to event recording. However, there is a problem that a blank period occurs in which video data to be recorded is not recorded when switching. According to the present invention, it was made to solve the above problems, and in order to prevent a blank period from occurring when switching between event recording and constant recording, the amount of recording buffer used is reduced.
