abstract |
A method for producing an intact granular acellular tissue matrix is provided. A method of processing a cell-free tissue matrix to produce a granular cell-free tissue matrix comprising: Cutting the dry cell-free tissue matrix into strips; Cryogenic destruction of the dried cell-free tissue matrix strip at cryogenic temperature; Separating the resulting particles at low temperature according to size; and Lyophilizing the particle fraction of the desired size to remove any moisture that may have been absorbed to yield a dry granular acellular tissue matrix; Including methods.
