abstract |
The object of the present invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition that induces or accelerates the healing process of damaged skin or skin wounds. A pharmaceutical composition that induces or accelerates the healing process of damaged skin or skin wound comprises an active ingredient, a therapeutically effective amount of insulin and at least one additional agent acting synergistically with said insulin. And a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier designed for topical application of the pharmaceutical composition. A method of inducing or accelerating the healing process of damaged skin or skin wound comprises the steps of: inducing or accelerating the healing process of damaged skin or skin wound; Administering at least one additional agent that acts synergistically with insulin.
