abstract Disclosed is a discharge management circuit capable of reducing deterioration of a secondary battery caused by discharge, and a battery pack including the discharge management circuit. A deterioration information generation unit that detects deterioration of a secondary battery and generates deterioration information indicating the degree of the deterioration, and a management in which the SOC of the secondary battery is set in advance as a value that needs to be managed. The management voltage value setting units 216 and 217 for setting the management voltage value that is the terminal voltage of the secondary battery for determining that the value has reached the value, and the terminal voltage of the secondary battery 14 is the management voltage value setting unit 216 , 217, and a discharge end processing unit 218, 219 for executing a process for terminating the discharge of the secondary battery 14 when the determination voltage value Vj and the discharge end voltage value Vdf are less than or equal to each other. The value setting units 216 and 217 increase the determination voltage value Vj and the discharge end voltage value Vdf as the degree of deterioration of the secondary battery 14 indicated by the deterioration information increases.
