In the case of an iron-carbohydrate complex, when one type of maltodextrin is used, the dextrose equivalent is 5 to 20, and when a mixture of multiple types of maltodextrins is used, the dextrose equivalent of the mixture is 5 to 20 And a water-soluble iron-carbohydrate complex in which each dextrose equivalent of each maltodextrin in the mixture is 2 to 40, a method for producing the complex, and a drug containing the complex.
