abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a toner that is excellent in low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage stability while ensuring hot offset resistance, and has high image density stability against changes in usage environment such as temperature and humidity. A toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin contains at least a polyhydroxycarboxylic acid skeleton in a part of a main chain (a). And a terminal blocker (a part or all of the carboxyl groups contained in the non-crystalline polyester resin (a) having a functional group capable of reacting with a carboxyl group in the molecule). and b) a toner which is blocked by forming a bond with the functional group contained therein.
