abstract The present invention provides a rubber composition for a tire reinforcing layer which has improved hardness and elastic modulus and improved bending fatigue resistance. SOLUTION To 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber containing 40 to 80% by weight of butadiene rubber, 20 to 90 parts by weight of carbon black, 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a cresol novolac type epoxy resin, and 3 to 8 parts of sulfur.
