abstract Vibration is generated in a vehicle when switching from vehicle traveling by a motor generator to vehicle traveling by an engine. When a required power is equal to or greater than a threshold value, a request to switch from running by a motor generator to running by an engine is generated, and a starter is started to start the engine. When the start of the engine 20 is completed by the rotation speed of the engine 20 following the target rotation speed during idling, the clutch 18 is engaged. Along with this, the output of the motor generator 10 is gradually reduced to zero, and the output of the engine 20 is gradually increased to the required power. [Selection] Figure 1
