abstract | Disclosed is a transparent encapsulant composition that is colorless and transparent and has excellent strength, heat resistance, light resistance, heat deterioration resistance, and thermal shock resistance. The composition for transparent encapsulating material of the present invention comprises a fluorine-containing compound having a carbon skeleton having a curable group as a main chain and a curing agent. Examples of the curable group of the fluorine-containing compound having a carbon skeleton as a main chain include a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, an epoxy group, an oxetanyl group, a vinyl ether group, an amino group, a mercapto group, a (meth) acryloxy group, and a hydrolyzable silyl group.
