In the gaming machine, in the game round, an open state is generated in the first release mode, and a second number after the first release mode is provided on the condition that a predetermined number of game balls do not win the big prize opening in the open state. A special round in which an open state is generated in the open mode, and a general round in which an open state is generated in the first open mode or the second open mode in a game round other than the special round.
