titleOfInvention | Inkjet recording head driving method |
abstract | Provided is a method for driving an ink jet recording head that can be applied to high-speed multi-gradation recording because satellite reduction and stable ejection of ink droplets are good. At least a part is formed of a piezoelectric material, and has partition walls facing each other, and includes a plurality of channels that expand or contract by application of drive pulses to electrodes formed on the partition walls, and each channel is driven. A method of driving an ink jet recording head that discharges ink in a channel from a nozzle by applying a first driving pulse that expands the volume of the channel by deforming partition walls on both sides of the channel to which ink is to be discharged. A pressure wave generated in the channel is canceled by applying a second drive pulse that causes ink to be ejected and then deforms only the partition on one side of the channel to expand the volume of the channel. A method for driving an inkjet recording head. [Selection] Figure 3 |
