Solid polymer fuel cell and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract |
To provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having high radical resistance without greatly reducing battery performance and a method for producing the same. A membrane electrode assembly is provided in which electrodes are bonded to both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane. The membrane electrode assembly has an amount of soluble iron ions of 10 ppm or less per electrolyte weight and has an effect of improving hydrogen peroxide resistance. A polymer electrolyte fuel cell in which the amount of ions other than protons is 0.1 to 20% in terms of the acid group ratio of the electrolyte. A reduction / pickling step in which the membrane electrode assembly or its constituent elements are subjected to reduction treatment and pickling treatment in this order or simultaneously so that the soluble iron ions contained in the membrane electrode assembly are 10 ppm or less per weight of the electrolyte; An ion introduction step for introducing ions other than protons so that the amount of ions other than protons contained in the membrane electrode assembly is 0.1 to 5% in terms of the acid group ratio of the electrolyte. A method for producing a molecular fuel cell. [Selection] Figure 1 |
