abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a fiber molded body and a thermally expandable capsule compound which can efficiently produce a fiber molded body that is lightweight and has sufficient rigidity. A laminated web containing a vegetable fiber (such as kenaf fiber) and a thermoplastic resin fiber (such as polypropylene fiber) is formed, and then the laminated web is needled to form a fiber mat. A method for producing a fiber molded body in which a fiber mat is subjected to heat compression molding to form a molded body, and a thermally expandable capsule in a thermoplastic resin (polypropylene resin or the like) together with vegetable fibers and thermoplastic resin fibers at the time of web formation Is supplied to form a web. The heat-expandable capsule blend is formed by blending a heat-expandable capsule with a thermoplastic resin, and can be used for producing a fiber molded body. [Selection] Figure 1 |
