The present invention provides a solid electrolytic capacitor that does not enter the market even if a creeping portion or a bridge portion occurs, has high reliability, has a small capacity variation, and does not cause an increase in cost, and a method for manufacturing the same. A solid electrolytic capacitor comprising a capacitor element having a foil-like anode part, a dielectric film formed on the surface of the anode part, and a cathode part formed on the dielectric film.
