| abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide an agglomerate production apparatus suitable for mass production of agglomerates, and a pig iron production apparatus including the agglomerate production apparatus. The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing agglomerates of reduced product containing reduced iron powder and an apparatus for producing pig iron provided with the same. The agglomerate manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention includes a charged hopper charged with reduced reduced iron-containing reduced powder, and is placed inside the charged hopper, forms an acute angle with the vertical direction, and flows into the charged hopper. A screw feeder that discharges the contained reductant, and a pair of rolls that form a gap while compressing the reduced iron-containing reductant that is discharged by the screw feeder from the charging hopper to produce an agglomerate. . The screw feeders are arranged side by side along the axial direction of the pair of rolls, and an extension line of the central axis of each screw feeder passes through the gap.
