abstract Disclosed is a mold processing method capable of repairing a defect made of a recess formed on a mold surface with sufficiently high strength. A step of placing a liquid containing metal ions on a concave portion present on the surface of a metal mold, and an electrode is placed in contact with the liquid, and an electric current is passed between the metal mold and the electrode. By this, it is a processing method of a metal mold | die provided with the process of depositing a metal inside a recessed part. The metal mold may have a surface made of a chromium plating layer.
