abstract An object of the present invention is to improve the energy efficiency of a vehicle by suppressing the operation of an internal combustion engine for charging power storage means while the vehicle is stopped. Charge at stop, which is a ratio of the charge current integration value Is during stop to the sum of the charge current integration value Id during deceleration, the charge current integration value Ib during deceleration, and the charge current integration value Is during stop within a predetermined time tref. When the ratio Ps is greater than or equal to the first threshold value Pref and less than or equal to the second threshold value Pref2, the change rate α is set to a value of 1 and the distribution ratio setting map is not changed, and the charging rate Ps when stopped is the second threshold value. When larger than Pref2, the change rate α is set to a value larger than value 1, and the distribution ratio setting map is changed so that the ratio of the required regenerative braking force RBF * to the required braking force BF * is increased.
