PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more efficient recombinant cell line having a low RCA and producing a replication-deficient adenovirus at a production level such as production of wild-type adenovirus from a 293 cell line. A cell line for the production of an E1-deficient adenovirus (rAd) vector that complements the functions of E1A and E1B. Cell lines for the production of E1-deficient adenoviral vectors and E2-deficient adenoviral vectors that complement the polymerase function of E1A, E1B and E2B. And a specific cell line that complements E1A function by insertion of E1A sequences containing mutations in 243R and 289R proteins, and E1B sequences containing the E1B-55K gene.
