abstract | Provided is a method for producing a lithium foil laminate that does not cause defects such as flare. In a rolling apparatus A, a primary foil 10a is sequentially thinned by three rolling rolls 11a to 11c to form a lithium foil 10 having a thickness of about 100 nm to 30 μm. At that time, the lubricant 13 made of a volatile substance is supplied to at least one of the surfaces of the rolling rolls 11a to 11c and the surface of the lithium foil 10. Thereafter, in the laminating apparatus B, the rolled lithium foil 10 is laminated on the base film 30. At that time, almost all of the lubricant 13 volatilizes in the region Rc from when the lithium foil 10 is rolled to when it is laminated. Therefore, the lubricant 13 is hardly interposed between the lithium foil 10 and the base film 30.
