titleOfInvention Methods for separating and recovering elements that coexist in iron scrap
abstract Provided is a method for efficiently and economically separating and recovering elements such as copper coexisting in iron scrap. By melting iron scrap and bringing the obtained iron scrap melt into contact with molten Ag, the iron scrap coexists on the basis of the distribution equilibrium between the iron scrap melt and molten Ag. The element to be transferred is transferred to molten Ag, and the element transferred to the molten Ag is oxidized and removed from the molten Ag. The iron scrap melt preferably contains C, and more preferably C is saturated and dissolved. [Selection] Figure 2
