abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To provide both an environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) and a high impact resistance suitable for a polyethylene resin excellent in moldability and durability, and in an excellent balance between impact resistance and rigidity, particularly a hollow plastic molded product. Provided is a catalyst for efficiently producing an ethylene polymer having an excellent balance of properties. A chromium catalyst in which a chromium compound (b) is supported on an inorganic oxide support (a) and at least a part of chromium atoms is hexavalent, and the organoaluminum compound (c) is an inorganic oxide.
