abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial antiseptic and bactericidal composition exhibiting an antiseptic effect superior to conventional ones. (A) 2-Bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3 in a solvent A diol, (b) 2,2-dibromo-2-nitroethanol, (c) 1,4-bis (bromoacetoxy) -2-butene, (d) 1,2-bis (bromoacetoxy) -ethane, and (E) At least three compounds in 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-diacetoxypropane are included. It is particularly preferable to contain at least one of (a), (b) and (e) as one of the essential components. The total content of at least three kinds of the compounds is particularly preferably 3 to 80% by weight. [Selection figure] None
