abstract |
It is the multilayer odor barrier tube 10 for defecation catheters. The outer surface 14 has a low coefficient of friction, similar to the inner surface 20. The catheter tube layer may be co-extruded or formed as a heat laminated film wound in a cylindrical shape and heat welded. A flexible scrim 42 may be included between the first layer 12 and the third layer 18. One or more constraining layers may be included between at least one between the first layer and the second layer 16 and between the second layer and the third layer. A combination of a multilayer odor barrier tube and an odor barrier collection bag 44 is also described. |
