The present invention relates to novel compounds, in particular novel pyridinone derivatives of formula (I), wherein all radicals are as defined in this application document and claims. The compounds of the present invention are useful in the treatment or prevention of glutamate dysfunction and disease-related neurological and psychiatric disorders associated with metabotropic receptors-subtype 2 ("mGluR2"). Is a positive allosteric regulator of the type G receptor subtype mGluR2.
