abstract It relates to a non-natural HSP70 activation region that activates dendritic cells. Polypeptides that bind to the HSP70 activation region can be used to treat autoimmune diseases such as vitiligo by binding to HSP70 and preventing HSP70 from activating dendritic cells. HSP70 binding agents can be constructed in the form of a fusion protein with trimerized structural elements that can associate for the formation of a trimer complex. It relates to pharmaceutical compositions and methods for treating vitiligo using HSP70 binding proteins, fusion proteins and complexes.
