abstract |
A cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is added to each code block segment belonging to the same transport block transmitting information bits in order to enable early stopping of the code block decoding iteration. The CRC for segment k is calculated for all bits in segments 1-k. Thereby, when evaluating the CRC added to the segment k + 1, it is possible to find a misperception of the CRC inspection result which is erroneously regarded for the segments 1 to k. |
