abstract | The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) and their use for inhibiting protein tyrosine kinase activity. In formula (I), the M group, as indicated, is thieno [3,2, b] pyridinyl, the D group is a ring or ring system, and the Z, Ar, and G groups are defined herein. As defined in In particular, the present invention relates to compounds that inhibit the protein tyrosine kinase activity of growth factor receptors and inhibit receptor signaling (eg, inhibit VEGF receptor signaling and HGF receptor signaling). Furthermore, the present invention treats compositions and methods for treating cell proliferative diseases and conditions (eg, cancer) and ocular diseases including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy (DR). Compositions and methods are also provided. |
